I will do my best to keep everyone informed on the latest about 14and1.com straight pool leagues on this page.
4/26/07 - A suggestion came in by a member to include a "make-up match" rule in case of a unforeseen situation came up such as a sickness , weather related etc..etc...so in the Handicap & Rules section there is a new rule for make-up matches now in place, thanks David!. (update - rules modified to include make-up matches)
4/28/07 - When it comes time to make changes , I will contact all league operators to have them include their input before making final decisions.
5/02/07 - Put to league operator vote are 2 issues.... #1 Issue) should handicaps carry over to the next league with only new players starting as a B level....VOTE IS YES #2 Issue) Which handicap should prevail for National Qualifiers? , the handicap qualified with or a prevailing higher handicap if the player actually went up in handicap at the end of a following league. VOTE IS HIGHEST PREVAILS.

12/19/07 - The Nationals in Atlantic City slated for May 16-18 '08 are now nearing capacity of 64 qualified players based on the number of leagues currently running or confirmed starting soon. Unfortunately I will have to turn away new locations for this season once at capacity of 64. Next year we will expand the accommodations at the Nationals to host 128 qualifiers at the Nationals.
1/17/08 - We are guaranteeing $2,000 for 1st place at the Nationals!
5/19/08 - The Nationals went off without a hitch at the beautiful Atlantic City Billiard Club! Congrats to John Downie from D&D Family Billiards in Thorndale, PA on a great win and becoming the 1st 14and1.com National Champ! Everyone played their heart out and was a great time had by all. Hopefully see you all again in 2009.
