Setup a 14and1.com Sanctioned League!!
-----------------------------------------------------------

Qualify players to the annual 14and1.com National Championship! The top 2 finishers in each league session qualify!

Anyone can be a 14and1.com league operator! And it’s simple to run! Our system is setup where the League Operator (LO) will only need about 15 minutes a week to update paperwork for the next weeks play! You don't need to be a room owner. There are no set session dates, leagues may start at anytime. LO's can play in their own league as well. There are no weekly fees collected by 14and1.com. There is no weekly paperwork to send in. Player entry forms and the local league payout sheet at the beginning of the session and a single page end of session sheet are all the paperwork 14and1.com requires.

There is a $15 player sanctioning fee per player per session. Players who have already qualified this season for the National Tournament have their sanctioning fee waived.

14and1.com league operators earn a percentage from weekly player dues as compensation or you can just run it for the enjoyment and promotion of 14.1.  Weekly player dues are set by each individual league operator which creates a cash prize fund for your local league(s). This prize fund is held and distributed by the league operator at league end, none of the weekly player dues are collected by 14and1.com. LO's can payout their prize fund as they wish, but must notify players and 14and1.com of the intended breakdown of payouts before the league starts. We recommend a $10 weekly player dues to create your prize fund ($8 for prize fund & $2 to league operator), but you may set the dues higher or lower as you please. Table time is split by the players of each match.

Example of $10 weekly player dues
($2 LO fee plus $8 added to the prize fund)
Prizes are paid directly at league session’s end
--------------------------------------------------

7 player league @ 14 weeks = $784 fund
8 player league @ 14 weeks = $896 fund
9 player league @ 18 weeks = $1,296 fund
10 player league@ 18 weeks = $1,440 fund
11 player league@ 22 weeks = $1,936 fund
12 player league@ 22 weeks = $2,112 fund

Also, the top 2 finishers in each league earn an invitation to the 14and1.com National Championship!

The top two finishers in point standings from any league session that wishes to attend the Nationals will pay a $125 entry fee to the National Championship from their local prize fund winnings. Entry fees to Nationals are collected either by mail two weeks before the Nationals or at the Nationals in cash (The Nationals entry fee is non-refundable).  This $125 entry fee collectively creates the prize fund for the Nationals Tournament.

Qualified players that do not wish to attend the Nationals simply do not pay the entry fee, and keep their winnings. This allows flexibility at the local level for your league funds. This allows players who do not wish to attend the Nationals a chance to play for just the cash and fun without having to contribute to the Nationals prize fund. 14and1.com does not collect any weekly fees.

To get started is very simple!

#1 - See if you have interest from 7 to 12 players that want to play in your 14and1.com sanctioned league(s). You may run as many sanctioned leagues as you like and in as many locations as you like.

#2 - Email us at
14and1.com@comcast.net with the mailing address and phone number to confirm you want to get a 14and1.com league underway.  We will then send a complete start-up kit to you by mail with our handicap system and everything needed to run your league(s). We support all LO's 24/7 through e-mail to keep your questions answered.

#3 - Mail or send scans of the local league payout sheet and completed entry forms from your players along with their $15 session fee to 14and1.com on the first week of play. Include your total session fees collected in one check made payable to “14and1.com" and include your name and address as LO (league operator).

Simple as that! Get started today and have some fun!

NOTE: $15 player entry fees are per player per league session. Each new session started requires that player entry fees from all non-qualified players are forwarded to 14and1.com the first week of play. These are the only funds we collect. The $125 entry fees collected at the Nationals from the qualified players creates the Nationals prize fund. 100% of the Nationals entry fees go directly into the 14and1.com Nationals prize fund.

If you have any questions at all please send an email.

Hope to have you aboard!
